Preferred Photographer Program Information and Pricing

The Farme offers a naturally beautiful setting for professional photography, including seasonal flower fields, vegetable gardens, and pastoral farm scenery. To protect the farm, our guests, and the quality of our blooms, all professional photographers must follow the guidelines below before scheduling sessions.

Becoming a Preferred Photographer

To bring clients to The Farme, photographers must:

  • Complete our Preferred Photographer Form prior to scheduling sessions.
  • Contact Brian & Laurie Bennett in advance for approval.
  • Provide proof of liability insurance before conducting sessions.
  • Be classified as a professional photographer if you are selling photography services or images taken at The Farme.

Booking Requirements

  • 24-hour advance booking notice is required.
  • Photographers must reserve specific time slots to prevent field overcrowding.
  • Full payment is required at booking to secure your session.

Photography Pricing Structure

  • Standard Professional Photography: $25 per hour
  • Golden Hour / Blue Hour Sessions: $35 per hour
    • Available Tuesdays & Wednesdays (limited availability)
  • Commercial / Branding / Advertising Shoots: Starting at $35 per hour
    • Additional fees may apply depending on scope.
  • Custom Session Requests: Contact us for pricing.

Props, Flowers & Add-Ons

  • Small handheld props are welcome.
  • Large props, furniture, or backdrops must be pre-approved.
  • Select furniture and props from The Farme may be available for rental.
  • No outside flowers allowed.
  • Picking flowers during sessions is allowed only if pre-arranged and paid for separately.
  • Flower availability varies seasonally and cannot be guaranteed.

Weather & Rescheduling

  • Sessions generally proceed rain or shine.
  • Rescheduling is available when weather creates unsafe conditions.
  • If crop conditions significantly affect your session, we will reschedule when possible.

Client Responsibility & Supervision

  • Photographers are responsible for communicating all farm rules to their clients.
  • Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times.
  • Photographers are responsible for client conduct, safety awareness, and respect for farm property.

Farm Environment Notice

The Farme is a working farm and private residence with natural terrain.

Please note:

  • Parking is in a grass field — not paved.
  • Uneven ground, insects, weather exposure, and agricultural activity are normal conditions.
  • There is no public restroom or changing space available onsite.

Flower Field & Property Etiquette

To preserve our fields for all visitors:

  • Stay on designated paths whenever possible.
  • Do not pick, bend, or damage flowers unless pre-approved.
  • Do not climb trees, fences, or farm structures.
  • Remove all trash, props, and personal items after sessions.
  • Respect wildlife, crops, and other guests.

Failure to follow guidelines may result in immediate session termination without refund.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: eligible for refund or reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: reschedule only, no refund.
  • No-shows: non-refundable; rescheduling at management discretion.
  • Unsafe weather cancellations will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

Photography sessions occur in a natural agricultural environment with inherent risks including uneven ground, insects, plants, wildlife, weather conditions, and farm structures.

By booking a session:

  • Photographers and clients voluntarily assume these risks.
  • The Farme is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, property damage, lost items, or incidents related to farm conditions.
  • Photographers agree to hold The Farme, its owners, and affiliates harmless from claims arising from sessions conducted on the property.

Communication

  • Text or Email is our primary communication method.
  • Please monitor your email for scheduling updates and confirmations.
  • Missed communications do not waive policies or booking terms.

Model Release & Marketing

Unless otherwise requested in writing before your session:

  • The Farme may use images taken onsite for promotional, website, or social media purposes.
