Introducing the Lebanon Cookbook Collective
We’re inviting you to join the Lebanon Cookbook Collective—a community built around the table, where home cooks gather to share cookbooks, seasonal recipes, meals, and the art of hospitality.
A community built around the table.
Beginning in June 2026 and first meal in August 2026.
Each month, for five or six consecutive months, small chapters will gather in homes and around tables to cook from a shared cookbook, bring a dish, and enjoy the experience of a meal created together.
This isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection.
Simple recipes. Shared tables. Meaningful moments.
Founding Memberships of Lebanon Cookbook Collective are now open

• Help shape the heart and rhythm of this Collective from the very beginning
• Be part of a growing community rooted in gathering and hospitality
• Sign up prior to August 1, 2026 to be considered Founding Member
• Participate for one full year
Chapter Table Hosts are the heart of each chapter—welcoming others in, setting the table, and creating space for shared meals, meaningful conversation, and the simple practice of hospitality.
What a Chapter Table Host does
• Set the Date + Invite the Table
• Choose a date and time that works for your chapter
• Share your selected cookbook
Preparing a Welcoming Space
• Host in your home or a simple gathering space
• Set a table that feels warm and inviting
• Have each guest choose a recipe to prepare and bring
Welcome Your Guests
• Greet each person as they arrive
• Help dishes get placed and organized
• Create an easy, comfortable flow
• Gather + Share the Meal
Invite everyone to the table
• Encourage sharing:
• what they made
• what they loved (or learned) from the recipe
Practice the Art of Hospitality
• Set a relaxed, unhurried tone
• Make space for conversation and connection
• Ensure everyone feels included
Close the Evening
• Thank your guests for coming
• Optionally discuss the next gathering or cookbook
What You’re Not Responsible For
• Cooking the entire meal
• Hosting “perfectly”
• Entertaining or impressing
• Your role is simply to hold the space and welcome others to the table.

Membership: $25 annually
Couples: $40 annually
A portion of each membership is shared with L-Life of Lebanon Missouri.
