As the days grow longer and the soil begins to warm, spring at Bread and Bloom brings one of our favorite times of year; gardening season. This year we are excited to offer a beautiful selection of herb and vegetable nursery bedding plants, grown with care and ready to thrive in your home garden.
To help guide our bedding plant process, we are honored to have the help of Laurie’s dad, David Vote, whose lifelong experience in gardening brings both wisdom and steady hands to the bedding plant production. David as a child sold vegetable for his family’s farm and has spent many seasons nurturing plants and sharing his knowledge with family and friends. We are grateful he has come out of retirement to help us out.
Our bedding plant selection will include a variety of garden favorites—perfect for raised beds, backyard gardens, patio containers, and kitchen herb gardens. From flavorful culinary herbs to productive vegetable starters, these plants are carefully grown to give gardeners a healthy and successful start to the season.
We will have bedding plants available throughout the spring season, continuing through May, so there will be plenty of opportunity to stop by and select the varieties that suit your garden plans. Our hope is to provide the community with healthy plants, helpful guidance, and the inspiration to grow something wonderful this year.
