Welcome to The Farme Blog — Where Tradition, Growth, and Community Bloom
Hey there, friend! 🌾
We’re so glad you’ve found your way to The Farme. Whether you’ve stopped by our farmstand before or are just discovering us, welcome! This blog is our way of opening the gate a little wider — to invite you into our daily life, share our story, and bring you along for the beautiful, sometimes messy, but always rewarding journey of growing and creating from the ground up.
At The Farme, we believe in slowing down and reconnecting — to the land, to our food, and to each other. From the wild yeast in our naturally-leavened sourdough, to the heirloom tomatoes in our garden and the hand-tied bouquets at the market, everything we offer is grown or made with love, care, and sustainable, organic practices.
Why this blog?
Because we want you to be part of the story. Here, we’ll share behind-the-scenes peeks of our sourdough baking process, what’s blooming and ripening in the garden, tips for using what’s in season, and the heart behind the work we do. You’ll get to meet our flowers before they hit the market, learn why we use certain methods in the garden, and maybe even pick up a new recipe or two.
You can find us at our farmstand every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, where we offer our fresh-baked sourdough loaves, seasonal vegetables, vibrant floral arrangements, and other goodies that celebrate the season.
Whether you’re a long-time customer, a fellow grower, or someone dreaming of starting their own farmstead adventure — we’re so glad you’re here. We hope this space inspires you, teaches you, and reminds you of the beauty in simple things.
Let’s grow something good together.
With gratitude,
The Farme, Brian and Laurie Bennett
